Baltimore Bike Bus SMS Terms & Conditions

Baltimore Bike Bus is an informal, parent-led community initiative organizing group bicycle rides to school at participating Baltimore City schools. By opting in, you agree to the following terms.

Program Description Baltimore Bike Bus SMS messages include ride schedules, weather-related cancellations or route changes, and safety announcements related to the initiative.

Opt-In You may opt in by submitting your mobile number through the signup form at baltimorebikebus.org and checking the consent box, or by texting START to (667) 771-2726.

Message Frequency Message frequency varies by season. Typically, expect up to one message per day on ride days during the riding season. Frequency may vary.

Message and Data Rates Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Opt-Out You can cancel SMS messages at any time by texting STOP. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then no further messages will be sent to you unless you opt in again.

Carriers Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Participating carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers.

Eligibility This service is intended for parents/guardians and adult participants. Baltimore Bike Bus does not knowingly collect phone numbers from minors.

Liability Baltimore Bike Bus is an informal, parent-led community ride, not a school-sponsored program. Parents and guardians are responsible for their own pre-ride safety assessments and decisions for their children. SMS notifications (including weather or cancellation alerts) are provided as a courtesy and are not a substitute for independent judgment about ride conditions.
